Marbling has been one of my favourite art patterns because of its free-flowing abstract effect. Marbling is the art of swirled or stone-like patterns, usually a combination of two or more colours. Taking reference from past Pantone's Colour of the Year colours, this Simply Marble collection is an exploration of simplicity amidst a chaotic swirl using a single colour rather than multi-coloured.
COLOR OF THE YEAR 2011 - Honeysuckle
A colour for all seasons: Courageous. Confident. Confident. Vital. A brave new colour, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It's a colour for every day – with nothing 'everyday' about it.
COLOR OF THE YEAR 2016 - Serenity
A welcoming colour that psychologically fulfils our yearning for reassurance and security are becoming more prominent. Serenity is about seeking mindfulness and well-being as an antidote to modern-day stresses. It is a shade of a cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection & wellness and a soothing sense of order and peace.
COLOR OF THE YEAR 2017 - Greenery
Nature's neutral. A life-affirming colour. A symbolic shade of new beginnings – a refreshing and revitalizing. An omnipresent hue in the world, Greenery is a constant on the periphery to being pulled to the forefront. It is also emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality.
Compact enough for your pouch or even a wristlet. There’s no excuse not to jot down important memos or sketch creative ideas onto these A6-sized field notes with trippy abstract prints on the cover.
